Let measures of the given angles of a triangle be 2x, 3x and 5x

Sum of all the angles is triangle = 180°

2x + 3x + 5x = 180°

=> 10x = 180°

=> x = 180° / 10

.°. x = 18°

So, the angles are 2x = 2 x 18° = 36°, 3x = 3 x 18° = 54° and 5x = 5 x 18° = 90°

Solution

Given :-

  • The angles of a triangle are in the ratio 5 : 3 : 2.

To Find :-

  • The measures of all the angles.

Step-by-Step-Explaination :-

Let the ratios be 5x, 3x and 2x

As we know that :-

Sum of all angles of triangle = 180°

So,

5x + 3x + 2x = 180°

10x = 180°

x = 180/10

x = 18

Thus,

The value of x = 18°

Now,

Measures of angles are :-

5x = 5 × 18° = 90°

3x = 3 × 18° = 54°

2x = 2 × 18° = 36°
