Answer:

20°, 60°, 100°

Step-by-step explanation:

let the angles be x 3x and 5x

as we know that sum of triangle is 180°

so, x+3x+5x = 180

9x = 180

x = 20

3x = 60°

5x = 100°

Hope it helps you ☺

We know that the total angle of any triangle irrespective of its sides and types of angles is 180°

So , this according to Angle Sum Property says that :

The sum of all angles of a triangle must be equal to 180°

So when we come to this question ; we see that the ratio is 1:3:5 . When multiplied with a common multiple x ; we can just simple solve it .

  • 1 × x = 1x or simply x
  • 3 × x = 3x
  • 5 × x = 5x

So when we take this in equation form :

x + 3x + 5x = 180°

9x = 180°

x = 180/9

x = 20°

So the value of x is 20° .

To find the measures of other angles we just need to put the value of x and simplify :

  • x = 1 × 20 = 20°
  • 3x = 3 × 20 = 60°
  • 5x = 5 × 20 = 100°

For verification :

20+60+100 = 180

80+100 = 180

180=180

LHS = RHS
