Required Solution:

Given:

• Angles of a ∆ are in the ratio of 1:2:3.

To calculate:

• Measure of each of the angle.

Calculation:

→ Let the angles of the triangle be 1x° , 2x° and 3x°.

We know that,

 \sf{ Sum \: of \: the \: interior \: angles \: of \: \triangle = 180}°

Substituting values:

\longrightarrow 1x°+2x°+3x° = 180°

 \longrightarrow 6x° = 180°

 \longrightarrow x° = 180°/6

 \longrightarrow x° = 30°

So, we got the value of x° that is 30°. Therefore, the angles of the ∆ are:

  • First angle = 1x°

→ First angle = ( 1 × 30 )°

→ First angle = 30°

  • Second angle = 2x°

→ Second angle = ( 2 × 30 )°

→ Second angle = 60°

  • Third angle = 3x°

→ Third angle = ( 3 × 30 )°

→ Third angle = 90°

Quick check!

We know that,

Sum of the angles of = 180°

  \longrightarrow 30° + 60° + 90° = 180°

  \longrightarrow 90° + 90°= 180°

 \longrightarrow 180° = 180°

                       Hence, verified!

More about triangles:

● Perimeter of ∆ = Sum of all sides

● Area of ∆ =  \sf { \dfrac{1}{2} \times b \times h}

Important properties of ∆ to remember:

★ Angle sum property of ∆

  • Sum of all interior angles of ∆ = 180°

★ Exterior angle property of ∆

  • Sum of two interior opposite angles of ∆ = Exterior angle
