Triangles

Given

The angles of a triangle are ( x + 20 )°,

( x + 30 )° and ( 2x + 30 )°.

To Find

The value of 'x'.

Concept

Sum of all angles in a triangle is 180°.

Solving

Using the property that sum of all angles in a triangle is 180°, we can write

(x + 20)° + (x + 30)° + (2x + 30)° = 180°

x + x + 2x + 20° + 30° + 30° = 180°

4x + 80° = 180°

4x = 100°

x = 25°

So, the angles are

x + 20° = 25° + 20° = 45°

x + 30° = 25° + 30° = 55°

2x + 30° = 2(25°) + 30° = 80°

Answer

So, the value of x is 25°.

Verification

45° + 55° + 80° = 180°

Hence, all values of angles are correct.
