½x = 3 + (1/6)x ......... multiply by lcd, 6

6(½x) = 6(3) + 6(1/6)x

3x = 18 + x

2x = 18

x = 9

angle 1: x

angle 2: 3x

angle 3: (x + 3x) - 32 = 4x - 32

the thing about geometry class is that there's a lot of algebra, but the GEOMETRY GIVES YOU THE EQUATION. here you need to know the 3 angles of the triangle add up to 180°, so

x + 3x + (4x - 32) = 180

8x - 32 = 180

8x = 212

x = 26.5

angle 2 = 3(26.5) = 79.5°
