Sum of angles of a triangle is 180°

the angles are (x-40) , (x-20) and (x/2 - 10).

Sum = (x-40) + (x-20) + (x/2 - 10) = 180

⇒ 5x/2 - 70 = 180

⇒ 5x/2 = 180+70 = 250

⇒ x = 250×2/5

⇒ x = 100

Angles are:

x-40 = 100 - 40 = 60

x - 20 = 100 - 20 = 80

x/2 - 10 = 100/2 - 10 = 40

⭐Given:

ANGLES OF A TRIANGLE:

  • (x-40)

  • (x-20)

  • (x/2-10)

⭐To Find:

  • Value of x=?

Solution:

Since,

We know that,

Sum of all angles of a triangle is 180.°

: . (x-40) +(x-20) +(x/2-10) =180°

: . x-40+x-20+x/2-10=180°

: . 2x-70+x/2=180°

: . 2x+x/2=180+70

: . 5x/2=250

: . 5x=250×2

: . 5x=500

: . x=500/5

: . x=100

Therefore, The value of x is 100 °.
