the value of x is 85
the value of y is 55

mksa: plz explain me how does it came
hshdbd: ok
mksa: thnx
hshdbd: x,y,40 are the angles of a triangle so x+y+40=180. since sum of angles in a triangle is 180'.by solving this equation we get x+y=140.this is one equation .given that difference between x and y is 30 so x-y=30.by solving x+y=140,x-y=30 equations by elimination method first we can get x value .by substituting x value in one of the above equations we can get y value also.
hshdbd: did u know elimination method?
mksa: yes
hshdbd: ok
mksa: thnx
hshdbd: it's ok
