let the ratio of the angles be x

So, 2x:3x:4x

sum of all angles of a triangle is 180°

Now,

2x + 3x + 4x = 180

9x = 180

x = 180/9

x = 20°

the angles are

2x = 2 x 20 = 40°

3x = 60°

4x = 80°

Solution

Given :-

  • The angles of a tringle are in ratio 2 : 3 : 4 .

To Find :-

  • The angles.

Step-by-Step-Explaination :-

Let the angles be 2x, 3x and 4x

As we know that :-

Sum of all three angles of a triangle is 180° .

According to the question,

2x + 3x + 4x = 180

9x = 180

x = 180/9

x = 20

Then,

1st angle = 2x = 2 × 20 = 40°

2nd angle = 3x = 3 × 20 = 60°

3rd angle = 4x = 4 × 20 = 80°

Therefore,

The angles of the triangle are 40°, 60° and 80° .
