Answer:

Take the three angles as 2x:3x:4x

add all those =9x

total angles in a triangle is 180 degrees

180 degrees=9x

x=20

2×20:3×20:4×20

40:60:80

largest angle is 80 degrees

Answer :-

  • Largest angle of the triangle is 80°.

Given :-

  • The angles of a triangle are in the ratio 2 : 3 : 4

To Find :-

  • Largest angle of the triangle.

Solution :-

Put x in the ratio

Angles are,

  • 2x
  • 3x
  • 4x

As we know that

Sum of the angles of a triangle is 180°.

According to question :-

2x + 3x + 4x = 180°

→ 5x + 4x = 180°

→ 9x = 180°

→ x = 180°/9

→ x = 20

Put the value of x in the ratio

Now,

Angles are,

  • 2x = 2 × 20 = 40°
  • 3x = 3 × 20 = 60°
  • 4x = 4 × 20 = 80°

Hence, the largest angle of the triangle is 80°.
