In △ABD,x+20h=tan45∘

∴x+20xtan60∘=tan45∘ [From equation (1)]

⇒3x=1×(x+20)⇒3x=x+20

⇒1.73x−x=20

⇒x=0.7320=27.39

Hence, height of tree =h=27.39×3=47.39 m.
