• P+Q+40°=180°

P+Q=180-40°

P+Q=180°......(i)

2nd condition;

Difference between P,Q is 30°

• P-Q=30°....(ii)

adding eq i and ii,We get;

P=85°

put P=85° in eq i,

u will get the value of Q

i.e. 55°

(for cross checking add the values of all angles: 85°+55°+40°=180°)
