Here's your answer:-

(x - 40)° + (x - 20)° + (1/2x - 10)° = 180°
=> x - 40 + x - 20 + x/2 - 10 = 180
=> (2x - 80 + 2x - 40 + x - 20)/2 = 180
=> 5x - 140 = 180 × 2
=> 5x = 360 + 140
=> 5x = 500
=> x = 500/5
=> x = 100°

Thus, the value of x is 100°.
