Angular resolution of telescope is given by
\bold{d\theta=\frac{1.22\lambda}{d}}
Here , dθ is angular resolution of telescope , λ is wavelength and d is diameter of telescope .

Given, λ = 5000 A° = 5 × 10⁻⁷ m , d = 10cm = 0.1m

So, angular resolution , dθ = 1.22 × 5 × 10⁻⁷/0.1
= 1.22 × 50 × 10⁻⁷ rad
= 6.1 × 10⁻⁶rad
