angular velocity of the earth is 2.5 × 10^-3 rad/s.

The angular velocity of the earth with which it has rotate so that tge acceleration due to gravity on 60° latitude becomes 0 is....

when any body lies at some point on the earth's surface whose latitude is λ.

then, acceleration of gravity to rotation of the earth is given as, a = g - ω²Rcos²λ

here, λ = 60° , a = 0

then, 0 = g - ω²Rcos²60°

ω² = 4g/R

ω = 2√(g/R)

= 2√(10/6400 × 10³)

= 2√(1/640000)

= 2/800 = 1/400

= 0.25 × 10^-2

= 2.5 × 10^-3 rad/s
