Angular velocity is given by w=d∅/dt

And, d∅ is 100×2π whereas, dt is 60s

Putting in all values, w= 100×2π/60

w= 10.47 rad/sec.

Here, d∅ is change in angle, as this particle travels 100 orbits per minute, there fore angle travelled is 100×2π as we know, 2π rad is equal to 360°, which is angle covered in one orbit!
