the annual income of a = 4/(4+3)x
of b is = 3/(4+3)x
if we assume x to be the total income :)
now expenses are 3/5 y for a
and 2/5y for b if y is total expense
so saving =income - expense
ie eq 1 : 4/7 x - 3/5y = 60000 for a
and 3/7x - 2/5y= 60000 for b
on solving the above 2 eqns
we get x = 420000
and income of a = 4/7x = 240000
