Answer:

Solution: Original salary = Rs 18,00,000

Increased salary = Rs 22,00,000

Increase in salary = Rs 22,00,000 – Rs 18,00,000 = Rs 4,00,000

Thus, percentage increase in salary = (increase in salary/original salary) x 100

= (4,00,000/18,00,000) x 100 = 22.22%

Given:

Previous salary =Rs.1800000

Salary for now =Rs.2200000

Increment in salary = 2200000 - 1800000

= 400000

now, % of increase in salary =\frac{increment in salary}{previous salary} \times100

=\frac{400000}{2200000}\times100\\

=0.18 × 100

=18.18%

Hence the Percentage Increase by 18.18%
