let deepak's age be=y

Let Aarti's age be=z

1)x+y/2=13

x+y=26

2)y+z/2=20

y+z=40

3)x+z=36

From 2) we get,

y=40-z

From 3) we get

x=36-z

PUTTING VALUE OF X AND Y IN 1)

x+y=26

36-z+40-z=26

76-2z=26

2z=50

z=25

therefore aarti's age=25
