The answer for the given condition in the question is 35 not 138

Step-by-step explanation:

Given Data

x + x + x = 60 -----------> (1)

x + 3y + 3y = 26 ----------> (2)

3y + 6z + 6z = 15 ----------> (3)

To find the value of (x + 3y × 5z)

From equation (1),

x + x + x = 60

3x = 60

Then x= 20

(2) => x + 3y + 3y = 26

x + 6y = 26

20 + 6y = 26

6y = 6

Then y = 1

(3) 3y + 6z + 6z = 15

3 + 12z = 15

12z = 12

Then z = 1

Substitute the values of x, y and z in the expression (x + 3y × 5z)

(x + 3y × 5z) = 20 + 3(1) × 5(1)

As per BODMAS rule,

(x + 3y × 5z) = 20 + [3 × 5]

(x + 3y × 5z) = 20 + 15

(x + 3y × 5z) = 35

Therefore the value for the given expression (x + 3y × 5z) is 35 not 138.
