The are area of a trapezium is 0.05m^2 and its height is 20cm . If one of the parallel sides is longer than the other by 8cm ,find the length of longer parallel side​

Area of Trapezium = 1/2h(a+b)

[0.05m²= 500cm²]

500=1/2h(a+b)

500= 1/2×20(a+a+8)

42=2a

21 = a

a+8= 29 cm

Therefore longer parallel side is 29cm
