\displaystyle\large\underline{\sf\red{Given}}

✭ Area of a square field is 60025 m²

✭ A man cycle around its boundary will a speed of 18 km/h

\displaystyle\large\underline{\sf\blue{To \ Find}}

◈ How much time would he spend to complete one round?

\displaystyle\large\underline{\sf\gray{Solution}}

So here we may first find the perimeter of the square and then use he formula for speed, interchange the Values and get our Time!!

\underline{\bigstar\:\textsf{According to the given Question :}}

Area of a square is given by,

\displaystyle\underline{\boxed{\sf Area_{square} = Side^2}}

  • Area = 60025 m²

Substituting the values,

\displaystyle\sf Area = Side^2

\displaystyle\sf 60025 = Side^2

\displaystyle\sf \sqrt{60025} = Side

\displaystyle\sf \purple{Side = 245 m}

Then the perimeter of the field will be,

\displaystyle\sf Perimeter_{Square} = 4\times Side

\displaystyle\sf Perimeter = 4\times 245

\displaystyle\sf \green{Perimeter = 980 \ m}

Now we shall convet the speed to m/s

»» \displaystyle\sf 18 \ km/s = 18\times \dfrac{5}{18}

»» \displaystyle\sf \orange{Speed = 5 \ m/s}

Now the speed of a body is given by,

\displaystyle\sf Speed = \dfrac{Distance}{Time}

So here,

\displaystyle\sf Time = \dfrac{Perimeter}{Speed}

Substituting the values,

›› \displaystyle\sf Time = \dfrac{980}{5}

›› \displaystyle\sf \pink{Time = 196 \ sec}

\displaystyle\therefore\:\underline{\sf Time \ taken \ will \ be \ 196 sec}
