and at Y

.What is the force felt at Y by applying 10 N force on the X

Apply Pascal law ... Which states that when f1 / a1 apply to one end it distributed to other end without any loss

hence f1/a1 = constant

f1 / a1 = f2 / a2

10 / 0.005 = f2 / 0.1

f2 = 200 N
