To Find :   area for the figure

Solution:

 area for the figure = area of rectangle + area of semicircle

area of rectangle = 6 x 10 = 60 m²

Diameter of semicircle = 6 m

Radius of Semicircle = 6/2 = 3 m

Area of Semicircle  = (1/2)πR²

= (1/2)(3.14)(3)²

= 14.13

 area for the figure = 60 + 14.13

= 74.13 m²

= 74.1 m²
