If we fold it , we will get cuboid of Dimensions
17 x 10 x 4
l = 17
b = 10
h = 4
Surface area of cuboid = 2(lb + bh + lh)
= 2( 17 * 10 + 10 * 4 + 17 * 4)
= 2(170 + 40 + 68)
= 2(278)
= 556 cm²
≈ 560 cm²
Another method :
find the area of each rectangle and ADD
4 x 10 + 17 * 10 + 4 * 10 + 17 * 4 + 17 * 10 + 17 * 4
= 40 + 170 + 40 + 68 + 170 + 68
= 556 cm²
≈ 560 cm²
