Answer:

Given:

Area \:  \:  of  \:  \: square=1024 {m}^{2}

Formula used:

Area \:  \:  of \:  \:  square= {a}^{2}

Perimeter of square=4a

Perimeter of rectangle=2(l+b)

Area of rectangular field=l×b

Solution:

Area \:  \:  of  \:  \: square=1024 {m}^{2}

 {a}^{2}  = 1024 {m}^{2}

a =  \sqrt{1024}

a = 32m

Assumption:

Let the breath be x; and

length of rectangular field be 3x

Side of square=32m

Since,

Perimeter of square=Perimeter of rectangular

4a=2(l+b)

4(32m)=2(3x+x)

128m=2(4x)

128m=8x

x=128m/8

x=16m

Hence,

Breath of rectangular field=x

=16m

Length of rectangular field=3x

=3(16m)

=48m

Hence,

Area of rectangle=l×b

=48m×16m

 =  768 {m}^{2}
