Area of a rhombus = length of a side × altitude

=> 98 = s × a

=> s = 98/a cm

Perimeter of a rhombus = 4 × length of a side

=> 28 = 4 × s

=> 28 = 4 × (98/a)

=> a = (98 × 4)/28

=> a = 14 cm

Hence the altitude of the rhombus = 14 cm.
