x+you=6 if x =0 then the value of y will be 6 so (x, y) is (0, 6)

Similarly when y =0 then x is 6 so another coordinates are (6, 0)

By ploting in the graph you get height=6 and base=6

So area of the triangle=1/2×base×height

= 1/2×6×6 = 18 units

So the area of the triangle is 18 units
