Given :
- Area of rhombus = 75 cm
- Length of diagonal ( d₁ ) = 15 cm
To FinD :
- Length of the other diagonal ( d₂ )
Solution :
★ Area of rhombus = ½( d₁ × d₂ )
→ 75 = ½ ( 15 × d₂ )
→ 75 × 2 = 15d₂
→ 150 = 15d₂
→ d₂ = 150/15
→ d₂ = 10
∴ Length of the other diagonal is 10 cm

❒ What is rhombus ?
- Rhombus is a special type of parallelogram that has all sides equal. Rhombus is quadrilateral whose all sides are equal.
❒ Properties of rhombus :
- In a rhombus all sides are equal
- In a rhombus opposite angles are equal.
- Also, in a rhombus the sum of adjacent angles are supplementary i.e. (∠B + ∠C = 180°).
