Area of circle = π r²

But also given that area = 616 cm²

⟹ π r² = 616 cm²

\sf{\implies\: {\dfrac{22}{7}}\: \times\: r^2\: =\: 616}

\sf{\implies\:  r^2\: =\: {\dfrac{616\: \times\: 7}{22}}}

\sf{\implies\:  r^2\: =\: 196}

\sf{\implies\:  r\: =\: \sqrt{196}}

\sf{\implies\:  r\: =\: \bold{14}}

Diameter = 2r = 2 × 14 = 28 cm

Area Of circle = 616 cm²

Formula of area of circle = πr² = 616

 {r}^{2}  =  \frac{616 \times 7}{22}

 {r}^{2}  = 28 \times 7

 {r}^{2}  = 196

r =  \sqrt{196}

r = 14
