Area of a circle = π r²

So : π r² = ( 14 + 6√5 ) π

Cancelling π both sides we get :

==> r² = 14 + 6√5

==> r² = 9 + 6√5 + 5

==> r² = 3² + 2×3×√5 + (√5)²

==> r² = ( 3 + √5 )² [ a² + b² + 2 ab = ( a + b )² ]

Neglecting -ve value :

==> r = 3 + √5

The radius is 3 + √5

Hope it helps :-)
