Given:-

  • Area of circle = 616m²

To find:-

  • Find the circumference of the circle.?

Solutions:-

  • Let the radius of the circle be 'r' m.

We know that;

Area of circle = πr²

=> πr² = 616

=> 22/7 × r²

=> r² = 616 × 7/22

=> r² = 56/2 × 7

=> r² = 28 × 7

=> r² = 196

=> r² = √196

=> r = 14m

Now,

Circumference = 2πr

=> 2 × 22/7 × 14

=> 2 × 22 × 7

=> 88m

Hence, the circumference of the circle is 88m.

Some Important:-

  • Diameter of a Circle D = 2 × r
  • Circumference of a Circle C = 2 × π × r
  • Area of a Circle A = π × r2

Where,

  • r denotes the radius of the circle.
  • d indicates the diameter of the circle.
  • c indicates circumference of the circle.

GIVEN :-

★ The area of a circle is 616 cm squared.

TO FIND :-

★ Circumference.

SOLUTION :-

★ LET'S THE RADIUS = X

WE KNOW THAT :-

 \bold{ARE \:  OF \:  CIRCLE =\pi r {}^{2} }

\rightsquigarrow \bold{\pi r {}^{2} = 616 }

\rightsquigarrow \bold{ \frac{22}{7}  \times r {}^{2} }

\rightsquigarrow \bold{r {}^{2} = 616 \times  \frac{7}{22}  }

\rightsquigarrow \bold {  \frac{56}{2}  \times 7}

\rightsquigarrow \bold{r {}^{2} = 28 \times 7 }

\rightsquigarrow \bold{r {}^{2} = 196 }

\rightsquigarrow \bold{r =  \sqrt{196} }

NOW :-

★ CIRCUMFERENCE = 2πr

\rightsquigarrow \bold{2 \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times 14}

\rightsquigarrow \bold{2 \times 22 \times 7}

\rightsquigarrow \bold \red{88m}

HENCE THE CIRCUMFERENCE OF CIRCLE IS 88 M ✴
