The area of a circle is 616cm squared. Find the circumference.

To find:-

• Find the circumference of the circle.?

Solutions:-

• Let the radius of the circle be 'r' m.

We know that;

Area of circle = πr²

=> πr² = 616

=> 22/7 × r²

=> r² = 616 × 7/22

=> r² = 56/2 × 7

=> r² = 28 × 7

=> r² = 196

=> r² = √196

=> r = 14m

Now,

Circumference = 2πr

=> 2 × 22/7 × 14

=> 2 × 22 × 7

=> 88m

Hence, the circumference of the circle is 88m.
