Area of circle = {πr}^{2}

So,

{616cm}^{2} = \frac{22}{7} × {r}^{2}

\frac{616×7}{22} = {r}^{2}

\frac{4312}{22} = {r}^{2}

196 = {r}^{2}

r = 14cm

Answer:

Radius of circle is 14 cm .

Step-by-step explanation:

As per given information ,

Area of circle is 616  {cm}^{2}

We have to find out the Radius of circle.

The area of circle is the region occupied by the circle.

As we know that,

Area of circle  = \pi {r}^{2}

Where,

r is a radius of circle.

Put the given values in the formula we get

616 = \pi {r}^{2}

 \frac{616}{\pi}  =  {r}^{2}

The value of π is 3.14 .

 \frac{616}{3.14}  =  {r}^{2}

 {r}^{2}  =196

When square is shift from left to right side it becomes square root.

r =  \sqrt{196}

The square root of 196 is 14 .

r = 14

Hence,

Radius of circle is 14 cm .
