Solution:

We know that:

The area of a circle = \pi r^{2}

∴  \pi r^{2} = 9\pi R^{2}

r^{2} = 9R^{2}

r^{2} = (3R)^{2}

⇒ r = 3R

∴ The circumference of a circle = 2πr

The circumference of a circle = 2π(3R)

= 6πR

∴ The circumference of a circle = 6πR

Thus, the circumference of a circle is "equal to 6πR".

Solution:

Area of circle = π ( Radius)²

Circumference of circle = 2π Radius

Area of circle  is given = 9 π R²

π ( Radius)² = 9 π R²

=> ( Radius)² = 9R²

=> Radius = 3R

Circumference of circle = 2π Radius

=> Circumference of circle = 2π (3R)

=> Circumference of circle = 6πR
