The area of a circle is equal to the area of a square. What is the ratio between the sides of the square and radius of the circle ::

Area of square = (side) ^ 2 Area of circle = ( π r ^ 2 )

take side of square is l

( l )^ 2 = π r ^2

√[(l) ^2] = √[π r ^ 2 ]

l = √π r

l/ r = √ π : 1

the ratio is √π : 1
