Circumference of the circle made 8cm long wire = 8cm

Circumference = 2πr = 8cm

2×(22/7)×r = 8cm

r = (8×7) / (2×22)

r = 56/44

r = 14/11

Area of circle = πr²

= (22/7)×(14/11)²

= 5.09 cm²

Answer:

here is your answere:

Step-by-step explanation:

perimeter = 2πr

                 =2x3.14xr

             8  =6.28xr

     8÷6.28=r

        1.27  = r

area = πr²

       = 3.14x1.27²

       = 3.14x1.27x1.27

       = 5.06 sq. cm.

The area of a circle made from

8

cm long wire is 5.06 sq. cm.
