HEY MATE HERE IS YOUR ANSWER
area of trapezium =144 msq.
Height =24m
Let the 2 parallel sides be 5x ,3x
AREA OF TRAPEZIUM =1/2×h(a+b)
ACCORDING TO THE STATEMENT,
144=1/2×24(5x+3x)
144=12(8x)
144/12=8x
12/8=x
x=1.5
Parallel sides =(1ST SIDE)5x =5×1.5
=7.5m
=(2ND SIDE)=3×1.5
=4.5m

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

area of the field=144 m^2

height=24m

1st side=5x

2nd side=3x

and

As, we all know area of a trapezium=1/2*(sum of parallel sides)*height

So,

144=1/2*(5x+3x)*24

144=12*(8x)

144/12=8x

12=8x

x=12/8

x=3/2

x=1.5

So, length of longer parallel side=5x=5*1.5

=7.5m

Please mark it as the brainit one!!!
