2 (l+b)×h=120

2 (12+b)×4 =120

96 +8b=120

8b= 120-96

8b= 24

b=24/8

b= 3

so, breadth of the room= 3 m

now, area of the floor= l ×b

=12×3

= 36 Sq.m.
