Given : Correction :   a  trapezium whose parallel sides are 18 cm and 12 cm and distance between them is 6.6  cm

To Find : area of a  trapezium

Solution:

Area of  a trapezium  = (1/2) ( sum of parallel sides) * distance between them

=> Area of  a trapezium  = (1/2)  (18 + 12) * 6.6

=> Area of  a trapezium  = (1/2)  (30) * 6.6

=> Area of  a trapezium  = 15* 6.6

=> Area of  a trapezium  =  99 cm²

Area of  a trapezium  is 99 cm²

HELLO DEAR,

GIVEN:-

The area of trapezium whose parallel sides are 18 cm and 12 cm and distance between them

is 6.6.

To find the area of trapezium.

SOLUTION:-

Area of trapezium = 1/2 (sum of parallel side ) × ( distance between parallel side)

So, as per question

sum of parallel side = ( 18 + 12 )

= ( 30 ) cm

Distance between parallel side =

( 6.6 ) cm

Therefore ,

area of trapezium = 1/2 ( 30) × (6.6)

= 99 cm².

I HOPE IT'S HELP YOU DEAR,

THANKS.
