A regular hexagon can be divided into 6 equilateral triangles.

Area of equilateral triangle = √3/4 × a²

Hence, area of regular hexagon = area of 6 equilateral triangle = √3/4 × a² × 6

where, a² = square of side of hexagon

Hence, area =
 \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4}  \times  {4}^{2}  \times 6 \\  \\  =   \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4}  \times 16 \times 6 \\  \\  =  \sqrt{3 }  \times 4 \times 6 \\  \\  = 24 \sqrt{3}

Hence your answer is 24√3 m²
