Given :-

  • Area of hockey court = 817⅘ m²
  • Breadth of hockey court = 21¾ m

To Find :-

  • Length of the hockey court

Solution :-

Firstly we have to convert Area and breadth of court in simple fraction

→ Area = 817⅘ m² = 4089/5 m²

→ Breadth = 21¾ m² = 87/4 m

As we know court is in rectangular shape therefore

Area of Court = Length × Breadth

→ 4089/5 = Length × 87/4

→ Length = 4089/5 × 4/87

→ Length = 37.6 m
