Area of parallelogram = h  × b

Given,

A  = 12 1/4 = 12x4+1/4 = 49/4 cm²

H  = 1 6/7 = 1x7+6/7 = 13/7 cm

Then,

49/4 = 13/7 × b

B  = 49× 7/13 × 4 = 343/52 cm

= 6.596 cm
