The base area of the Cylinder = 20 sq.cm

We know that

The base of the cylinder is in the shape of a circle .

So Base area = Area of the circle

Area of the circle = πr^2 sq.units

Therefore, πr^2 = 20 sq.cm

and, The height of the cylinder = 5 cm

h = 5cm

We know that

Volume of a cylinder = πr^2h cubic units

=>Volume = Base area × height

=>Volume = 20×5 cubic cm

=>Volume = 100 cubic cm

Volume of the cylinder = 100 cubic cm

Answer:-

Volume of the given cylinder = 100 cubic cm

Used formulae:-

Area of the circle = πr^2 sq.units

Volume of a cylinder = πr^2h cubic units

Volume of a cylinder = Base area×height cubic units

π=22/7

r= radius of the base of the cylinder

h= height of the cylinder
