Area of a parallelogram = Base * Altitude
A = b * a

a = 2 * b
A = 288 cm.²

288 = b * a
288 = b * 2b
2b² = 288
b² = 144
[ Base = b = 12 cm. ]

a = 2 * b
a = 2 * 12
[ Altitude = a = 24 cm. ]

angelsbatra: thank you very much
angelsbatra: i was searching it for long .Finally i got it . thank you

area of parallelogram=base ×height

288=b×2b

288=2b^2

288÷2=b^2

144=b^2

b=12

2b=2×12

=24
