• ✓ The length of the corresponding altitude = 4 m

\underline\red{\bold{✓GIVEN}}

• The area of a parallelogram is 64 m2 and it's bace is 16 m.

\underline\red{\bold{✓FIND}}

• What is the length of the corresponding altitude ?

\underline\red{\bold{✓FORMULA}}

• The area of a parallelogram = b × h

where,

b = base

h = length of corresponding altitude

\underline\red{\bold{✓SOLUTION}}

• According to the question

• The area of the parallelogram = 64 m2

\implies16 \times h = 64 \\ \implies \: h =  \frac{\cancel6\cancel4}{\cancel1\cancel6}  = 4 \\ \implies \: h = 4 \: m

• Hence the length of corresponding altitude = 4 m
