Given,Area of parallelogram= 72cm²

height= 6cm

length= ?

area of parallelogram=b×h

72cm²=b×6

b=72cm²/6cm

b= 12cm

base is = 12cm

here is ur answer:

area of | |gm = 72 sq. cm

perpendicular height = 6 cm

area of | |gm = base × height

72 = 6 \times b \\  \\ b =  \frac{72}{6}  \\  \\ b = 12cm \\  \\

the length of its side from which the perpendicular is drawn is 12 cm
