the area of a parallelogram is 72 square metre and its base is 6 cm find the corresponding altitude

here's ur answer...

given the base of the parallelogram is 6cm.

area of the parallelogram = 72cm²

therefore b×h = 72cm²

=> 6×h = 72cm²

=> h = 72/6

=> h = 12cm

VERIFICATION:-

area of the parallelogram = b×h

= 6×12

= 72cm²

hence verified

thus the altitude of the parallelogram is 12cm.
