Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Perimeter of sq =4*l

140=4*l

l=35

Area of sq=l*l

=35*35

=1225

As ||gm area is equal to square area so,

1225=b*h

1225=b*25

b=1225/25

b=49

so the base is 49

Hope it will hep ,if any doubt pls ask

Answer:

Given:-

The area of a parallelogram is equal to the area of a square whose perimeter is 140 cm.

The height of the parallelogram is 25 cm.

To Find:-

corresponding base of the parallelogram

Solution:-

perimeter of a square = 4×side

let the side be x

⟹140=4x

⟹x=140÷4

⟹x=35

so the side of the square =35cm

area of the square = side ×side=1225cm²

so,area of the parallelogram is 1225cm²

area of a parallelogram = base×hieght

1225= base×25

base=1225÷25

base=49

hope this helps.!!
