The area of a parallelogram is equal to the area of a square whose perimeter is 140cm. if the height of the parallelogram is 25cm then find its corresponding base​

Perimeter of square = 4s (s = measure of side)

140= 4s

\frac{140}{4} = s\\\\35cm = s

Area of square = s²

                          = 35²

                          = 1225 cm²

Area of parallelogram= height × base

1225 = 25 × b

\frac{1225}{25} = b

49cm = b

Base = 49cm
