Perimeter of square = 4s (s = measure of side)

140= 4s

$\frac{140}{4} = s\\\\35cm = s$

Area of square = s²

                          = 35²

                          = 1225 cm²

Area of parallelogram= height × base

1225 = 25 × b

$\frac{1225}{25} = b$

49cm = b

Base = 49cm
