Answer:

Given :

  • Area Of Parallelogram = 336 cm²

  • Height = 12 cm

To Find :

  • Base Of Parallelogram = ? ( corresponding side )

Formula To Find Area :

Area = Base × Height ( b × h )

So,

Base = Area / height

Solution :

Base = Area / Height

b = 336 / 12

b = 28

∴ Base Of Parallelogram = 28 cm

⟶ Area = base × height ( b × h )

⟶ 336 = 28 × 12

⟶ 336 = 336

LHS = RHS

KNOW MORE :

Formulas To Find Area :

  • Circle = πr²

r = radius of the circle

  • Triangle = ½ × b × h

b = base, h = height

  • Square = a ²

a = length of side

  • Rectangle = l × b

l = length, b = breadth

  • Parallelogram = b × h

b=base, h=vertical height

  • Trapezium = ½(a+b) × h

a and b are the length of parallel sides,

h = height
