Given ,

Area of parallelogram = 70 cm²

Altitude of parallelogram = 7 cm

We know that , the area of parallelogram is given by

Area = Base × Altitude

Thus ,

70 = Base × 7

Base = 70/7

Base = 10 cm

Hence , the base of parallelogram is 10 cm

\huge\underline\mathrm{SOLUTION:-}

AnswEr:

  • The base of the parallelogram = 10 Cm.

Given Information:

  • The area of a parallelogram is 70 cm sq.
  • The altitude of a parallelogram is 7 Cm.

Need To Find:

  • The base of the parallelogram = ?

ExPlanation:

Formula used here:

  • Area of parallelogram = Base × Height

Putting the values according to the given formula:

➠70 = Base × 7

➠Base = \mathsf {\dfrac{\cancel{70}}{\cancel{7}}}

➠ Base = 10

{\underline{\boxed{\sf{Base = 10\:Cm}}}}

ThereFore:

  • The base of the parallelogram = 10 Cm.
